Resolution to Abandon Alleys in Oakdale Park and Barrett Shores.
On a motion duly made by Commissioner Bauerle, seconded by Commissioner Sisung, and passed with 3 ayes and 0 nays, it was moved to adopt the following resolution:
Whereas, a petition was received by the Board of Clinton County Road Commissioners to consider abandonment of all unessential alleys within Oakdale Park and Barrett Shores in Victor Township, Section 28 and
Whereas, a public hearing was held on April 22, 2004 and notice had been given to the adjacent property owners and the township of Victor and
Whereas, Victor Township officials agreed that they would assume responsibility for all waterfront access alleys should the road commission abandon them, and
Whereas, the Clinton County Board of Road Commissioners feels that these waterfront alleys can be best monitored by Victor Township,
Now Therefore be it resolved that the alley, which lies between Lot 3 and 4 of Barrett Shores as shown on the Platt of Barret Shores dated September 10, 1930, be absolutely and permanently abandoned and dedicated to the Township of Victor with any easements for public utilities lying within this right of way to remain unless abandoned by each public utility individually and
